450 some years ago, a man by the name of William Shakespeare was born, and he would go on to write some of the greatest literary works of all time. Everyone knows the name, and everyone knows at least some of the plays. But some people have a hard time figuring out what those plays are saying, so we get movies like the ones we’re watching this month.
For the month of April, we’re going to be watching movies that were inspired by tales from The Bard. Movies that take their plots and some characters from Shakespeare’s plays, then make them more digestible for the general population (and also Anonymous). And I’m including myself in that population. I can read and understand Shakespeare just fine, but it takes a second in my head and I don’t have time for that shit. Anyway, schedule’s below. Please to enjoy.
